Fan pages will still push updates on facebook

It’s a little thing, but as with many changes that look small at first, the fallout could be larger than expected. The reason behind the change appears simple: Users click “Like” buttons twice as often as they press a “Become a Fan” button about apple ibook g4 12 inch battery , according to Facebook documents obtained by MediaMemo.

And “Like” has already proved to be a popular form of interacting with the site: It requires minimal brainpower or effort for the user to “Like” someone’s comment or status of Dell vostro 1500 battery .Ultimately, though, nothing will change about how Fan pages operate, the leaked documents say — only the buttons will change.

Fan pages will still push updates to your News Feed, for example — and brand managers can still call those who “Like” these pages their “Fans.”But it’s unclear whether Facebook will continue to let brands change the wording of their links to Facebook brand pages of apple a1078 battery . Will the ubiquitous “Become a fan on Facebook” have to become “Like us on Facebook” across the Web?

It may not be a question of forcing them, actually. If Facebook’s research is correct, brands may want to make this change to improve conversion rates. I also presume that any embedded “Become a Fan” links will be automatically updated with new wording on powerbook g4 15 inch titanium battery once the change goes live. There’s no timeline for the change announced yet. In fact, it’s still “Highly Confidential,” so whatever you do, don’t “Like” this blog post!
